What are Smart Links?
Smart Links are... the measure of how many inbound links a web site has pointing to it from other web sites. An inbound (or incoming) link is a link that appears on another website, that when clicked, will take that visitor to your site. Yet these links do much more then just bring immediate traffic. Most importantly, each of these inbound links is also considered to be a "vote" for your web site in the organic rankings of the major search engines. The more link "votes" a website has, the greater the overall link popularity and Google PageRank will be for that site.
